More soreness.

Monday, I did 400 meter runs with 30 squats for four repetitions.

Tuesday, I woke up and my legs were stiff. Not incredibly painful but stiff. I meant to run, but my muscles were spazzing so I gave it a rest.

Wednesday, I woke up and felt like a pedestrian hit by a truck. Getting down the stairs is an ordeal. Getting up them, not so much. Couple that with the new 10,000 square foot facility where my lab is located about 1 km away from my desk and Houston we have a problem.

Nonetheless, I made it through Pilates and followed the class with a jacuzzi shot to my gams. The soreness from the core will definitely mask the leg pain and I temporarily felt I could walk again exiting the gym. The upside of this experiment is that my run time is bound to improve by at least a half-a-minute. I was hitting a plateau speed wise, so I decided to do something about it. Hopefully that something will reap its benefits on the track tomorrow.
