Onward Monday
These days, my work happens to be the most hectic place in the world. Once again, I am relegated to updating at home, and when I find that the writing bug hits me, its usually when my connection is down.
A few highlights of the weekend include:
Seeing Across The Universe
Hanging out with a much cherished old friend and meeting someone new
Eating sticky rice with mango
Not being able to absorb food
Okay.. maybe the last item is not such a plus. I do feel a little bit drained.
The next few days, my house is getting fumigated and I am being put up in the Motel 6 in Belmont. No one can imagine the sheer joy that I must feel being evacuated from home with my pet toad to a lovely motel room in the middle of a traffic bottleneck. I will survive, but will also probably need WiFi in order to keep the creative juices transmitting over the webs.
After the termites get scared away, I mean, DIE, I want to convince the landlady to get a cat. I am prepared to be disappointed. It is also possible that I will move regardless and that will give me more time to find one and think about it. Until then, Sir Galahad, my adopted stray will sleep on the marshes of Menlo Park.
